SERVICE: Our server was friendly and helpful in answering our questions and providing recommendations from the menu based on our preferences. Very professional and she was always around when we needed anything. FOOD: If you like chicken nachos you should try these. They put the right amount of cheese, chicken, jalapenos, guac, every ingredient pairs perfectly. I had the chicken enchilada and my husband the chicken tacos. The plates are smaller in size than expected but still delicious and filling.. ATMOSPHERE: The ambience of the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. The indoor dining area is to the left when you walk in, the bar in the middle and outdoor seating. Very nice. Overall we will visit this establishment again!
Mexican food!!! YUMM!! everything was so good, inside was very clean including the bathroom, very cute decor. Affordable drinks in DC is always a plus. Server was very nice & very attentive to our table. Shrimp Quesadilla taste extremely fresh..and came out piping hot. Added jalapeno and it topped it off! Highly recommend this meal
El Bebe saved the day. My office holiday luncheon was catered by the Navy Yard location with less than 24 hrs notice. I called and spoke to Tee M, one of the managers a day before the event. She immediately calmed my nerves by accepting my request and suggested great options. We opted for the Taco bar with pans of rice and black beans and corn dip. The next day I received a call from her that my order was ready. Tee was onsite with the team carrying the items to my car and carefully placed it my vehicle. Everyone at work raved about how delicious the food was. The presentation, temperature and quality were superb. Fresh and flavorful. I don’t know what magic she worked to pull this off but I am forever thankful for the superior service and recommend El Bebe for your next gathering.
Great food and atmosphere all around. The classic margarita is very refreshing with real lime. Food was brought out quickly and it was tasty. Only odd thing was the rice had peas and carrots in it which didn't feel authentic. Overall would recommend!
The food was delicious. I prefer my street corn to be warm or room temperature, It was cold. The queso was official. El has a good menu. I personally would like some onions and peppers in the chicken dishes.
I dined in with a group of friends on Saturday night. We did not have a reservation but the host was very accommodating and was able to get us a table quickly. The food and service was absolutely amazing. We got an order of the birria quesadilla for the table and had to get second one because it was just so delicious! Our server Kayla was so attentive and quickly got us our food and drinks, loved her! 10/10 will be back!
Loved this place from the minute we walked in. Friendly hostess and server, lovely decor and atmosphere. I ordered a margarita w/pineapple juice added; came out delicious! The Mexican corn dip was amazing. Their rice and beans were perfect. The carnitas tacos were a 3.9/5 for me, I wish there was more chicharron; regardless they were good. My fiance loved the mole sauce on his burrito, he gave it a perfect score. I’m not usually a dessert person but we had to get the churro doughnuts. The texture was perfect: crunch on the outside and nice and airy in the middle. Would definitely visit again.
Went during happy hour with my friends after work. Our server was AMAZING...so mad I can't remember her name. She was as attentive as can be. From the margaritas to the tacos, everything was delicious and wonderfully tasty. The chips and queso hit the spot. I was next able to mix and match tacos which included carne asada, carnitas and the el guero supreme. I think I found a new favorite tex mex spot in DC. El Bebe was everything I needed.
